![]() ![]() ![]() #Salesforce platform app builder v developer how toI understand the the App Builder cert is more for admins but I am out of ideas of how to win over a recruiter without any professional experience. I feel like I am more than capable of developing on the Salesforce platform but I am not able to ‘seal the deal’ with a company.Īny recommendations on what to do next? Currently I have my eyes set on passing the App Builder cert as well as completing 1 more superbadge to obtain the developer super set to put on my resume. I have no experience other than a couple projects that I have done in my boot camp revolving around OOP fundamentals and C#. I went to college for a degree unrelated to tech but did not graduate due to the fact that I am a career changer. I am wondering if the Platform App Builder will help me in my goal of becoming a Salesforce Developer. What could be the reason? When asked for my requested salary, is it to much to ask for ~60k? I am fine with the mid 50s but I also do not want to under sell myself. Both were entry level Salesforce developer positions. And I also had to do 2 take home coding assessments for one of the companies (which I passed both). I have already had 2 job interviews since getting the PD1 and I made it to the 2nd round of interviews for each company. I’m writing this post to see what else I need to do to get a job as a Salesforce developer. It has been close to a year since deciding to do a career change and enroll myself in a OOP boot camp and I would say I have a very solid understanding of OOP. ![]()
